Department of Juvenile Justice – WPB

GNU RESPONSIBILITIES AND PROJECT TYPE:
GNU provided Pre-Construction and Construction Management services on this project.  The project involved the interior renovation of Building B and the Training Room.  A new kitchen cabinet was installed as well as new VCT flooring.  The original carpet was replaced in the hallways in addition to new light fixtures in several offices.  In the Training Room, GNU installed an acoustical ceiling with fire alarm deices, new doors, new flooring, new AC distribution, and the room was painted.  The restroom was also upgraded.  The project also included the repair and installation of parking lot light fixtures and the building signage.  An aluminum canopy between Building B and the Training Room was added to the scope of work which required structural footings.  The renovation was successfully completed to the satisfaction of DJJ.
